Now THAT is a big airplane! The new Airbus A380 can carry up to 853 passengers if configured correctly. Boeing, eat your heart out!

I was sick of the way my blog used to look, so I changed the template I use. I am still in the process of tweeking it so things may change a little, but the general feel should stay the same - at least until I get sick of it again!

Looks like they are shaking things up on American Idol this season. I know for me the novelty is starting to wear thin, and with my school schedule this semester and competeing shows on Wednesday night (Lost and Alias) I doubt I will actually see any of the changes implimented.

In other news, the ratings for 24, which premiered over the weekend, are up from last season. It will be interesting to see if it holds onto this bigger audience, and if it does how that will play into the show's future. Though I personally want the show to end after this season (c'mon...how many times can Jack save the world?), I am not saying I would stop watching it either. Only time will tell...tick, tick, tick...

So I went to Starbucks this morning to treat myself to a Caramel Apple Cider (yum!), and I think they were playing a Kevin Max song over the speakers. The song, called Hallelujah, is on his recently released independent EP "Between the Fence and the Universe," but was not included on the first printing of it - which, unfortunately, is the one I have - so since I have only heard it on his website I am not positive if it was that song or not. Plus it was kind of hard to hear over all the beverage brewing going on.

One cool thing about my trip to Starbucks: I asked about their new Chantico drinking chocolate which I have seen advertised, but when I found out how small if was for the cost I decided to go with the cider, but the guy working the counter made me one anyway. It was really good.
