Funny...crazy...and a bad idea (if you ask me).

Things be-a-changin'! At least in regard to my home computer experience. Apple will release their latest operating system update, codenamed Tiger, on April 29th. Not sure if I will purchase the upgrade or not (though it's about seventy dollars for students...not bad). Not that I don't want it, I do, but if I end up getting a new computer this summer when my warranty runs out then that seventy bucks was impatiently wasted. We will see...

Also, Amazon.com is tweaking their layout in places, most notably in the bookstore. Not every department has this new look yet, and not every book has this updated layout either. For example, the page for the next Harry Potter book still has the old layout. I'm not sure I mind the new look, but I was so used to the old one that it's kind of jarring the first time you see it. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Ya, and you TiVo fans say it's NOTHING like Big Brother. Uh-huh, RIGHT!

It's official! Alias has been renewed for a fifth season! (Oh, and Lost has been picked up for next season too...like there was ANY doubt about that one.) No word yet on whether it will debut in the fall or, like this season, air without repeats starting in January. Personally, I hope for the latter. I hate having to wait weeks on end for new episodes to air! But I've been spoiled as both ABC and FOX have taken the mid-season approach with Alias and 24 respectively. Speaking of 24, no official word yet, but rumors abound that it is all but guaranteed a fifth season...day...whatever!
