What To Do??

One of my favorite bands, TV on the Radio, is playing at Red Rocks this Tuesday. Do I want to get tickets for the sold out show on eBay, or perhaps scalp them at the show? My first reaction was: "yes, anything for this band!" But the more I think about it, the less I want to go. Not that I don't want to see them in person again, especially at a place like Red Rocks Amphitheater, but they are only opening for Nine Inch Nails, and not headlining. I don't like NIN, and I'm not sure if I really want to spend upwards of $50 to see a half hour set by TVOTR. Plus, I don't own a car, so how exactly would I get to and from the mountains? The good news: according to Wikipedia, their new album, Return to Cookie Mountain (Yes, a silly title, but having finally learned the title makes the new design for their official website actually make sense), will be released on July 3rd. Since they have come to my neck of the woods at least twice before, I am pretty sure they will stop here again. I think I will save my money for a full concert from them, and not have to sit through an hour and a half of overrated goth-rock afterwards.

Oh, How I Wish I Was In NYC...

...because in just a few short hours the very cool 5th Avenue Apple store will open it's doors.
And it stays open 24/7/365! I really need to get myself to NYC!

And I'm Back...

It has been a while since I posted anything, but now that finals are over (finally) I hope to get back to more regular blogging. Here are some brief updates and tidbits:

J. J. Abrams and Star Trek: apparently it is not official that Adrams will direct Star Trek 11. He has the option to, and it may eventually happen, but the story that reported it (which I then reported here) was somewhat inacurate on the specifics. Click here if you want to read more. Personally, I hope he does. But then, I don't really care when he does, I'll partake in it! I did, after all, see Mission Impossible III 3 times.

New music (no, this music post won't be as long as my last!): Tom Yorke of Radiohead will be releasing a solo album on July 11. No, this doesn't mean Radiohead is breaking up. They are, in fact, on tour right now working through some material before they head into the studio to record their next album. I look forward to both Yorke's solo material as well as Radiohead's new album.

There is still no release date for The Fountain.
